The Iraqi Hezbollah Brigades militia announces that it will stop attacking the American embassy in Baghdad for five days, while setting several conditions so that it will not do so again, including that Israel will not attack Dahya in Beirut, that the US will not attack residential areas in Baghdad and throughout Iraq, and that CIA personnel be removed from Iraq except for the Kurdish region. The Shiite terrorist organization announces that if the US does not meet these conditions, "the response will be direct and the frequency of attacks will be higher." The organization, which is loyal to the Iranian regime, also stated that it supports the protection of diplomatic missions in Iraq of all countries, as long as they do not participate in the war in Iran, but that Israel and the US do not benefit from this protection.
