The United Kingdom Maritime Trade Operations (UKMTO) Center has issued a report on an attack on a tanker approximately 30 nautical miles southeast of Al Faw, Iraq, in the northern part of the Persian Gulf. Attacks attributed to Iran, which have increased in frequency and range in recent weeks, have now targeted tankers north of Qatar and off Saudi Arabia's Al Jubayl
